And who doesn’t enjoy a good meal? Whether it is eaten at home or at a good restaurant, nobody can say No. In general, men are more of eaters than women who basically spend most of their days dieting and food-depraved. Men are at higher risks of cardiovascular problems due to the fact that they tend to accumulate fat in their abdominal area. With a proper well-balanced lifestyle and healthy habits, one can aspire for a long healthy happy life. The truth is that some light meals can be highly beneficial for health: heart health, gut health, libido, mental health… And still taste amazingly well.
So, I have put together a list of meals for men that would have a great positive impact if taken at least once a week. Here is what can help your body fight off inflammation, boost your libido, keep you away from so many diseases such as cancer and add years to your life.
1- Bowl of salad: spinach, rocket leaves, tomatoes, pine nuts and a big spoon of cooked quinoa with a lemon, garlic, olive oil dressing
2- Grilled Salmon or Tuna with a side of grilled asparagus, green beans, carrots and bellpeppers (green, red and orange). You can add seasonings such as garlic, red pepper flakes, and oregano. Adding Kale to it makes it perfect!
3- Dessert: cup of granola or Chia mixed with coconut milk, topped with strawberries, cherries, almonds and a dash of honey or maple syrup.
4- Grilled salmon topped with strawberry salsa (diced strawberries, diced onions, coriander, olive oil, salt, pepper) accompanied by a side of quinoa, grilled asparagus, artichoke, and broccoli
5- Cabbage and carrots salad with lemon, garlic and olive oil dressing with an oat toast topped with pesto sauce and dried tomatoes.
6- Dessert: mango and watermelon salad with shredded coconut or chocolate flakes.
7- Salad: Rocket, avocadoes, mango, pine nuts, walnut, and topped with pomegranate.
